Monthly doctor's appointment check in time!! Nothing exciting to report really at 23 weeks. The baby has been kicking for a few weeks, and though it was relatively quiet most of today, the baby certainly woke up for our appointment!! The baby was flipping around and moving so much while the doctor was trying to listen to the heartbeat it took forever to get a heart rate. It was up in the 130s when she was finally able to get the baby to stay still long enough to listen, which is great. It was hard for me though, since that doppler thing kind of tickles, and I was trying so hard not to laugh about the baby's little party in my belly. If I laugh it makes it even harder for her to hear the heartbeat!! Everything seems to be going well, and we're having another doctor's appointment in early December. That one will be a little long, since I have to do the glucose test to make sure I'm metabolizing sugar correctly. Today was a quick little five minute deal though, really easy to fit in. Luckily once the number of appointments pick up, I'll be done with school. I couldn't have timed that better! I hope everyone is having a great fall! Halloween was fun, but I'm excited for Thanksgiving. I think Halloween will be so much fun next year--I can't wait to dress up that poor little infant and take full advantage while it's too small to protest. :) We're moving along and are right on schedule to deliver in late February or early March. I'll keep you all updated if anything else happens!
