We went back to the doctor again yesterday, and got some good news. The doc said I am safe to exercise as much as a I feel up to, which is really nice. I haven't been enjoying the workouts suggested by the nurse I talked to a few weeks ago, they're just boring. The baby's still too small for them to pick up the heartbeat with the doppler, so we went ahead and had another ultrasound. Very exciting!! The baby actually looks like a baby now, with arms and legs and everything! It's reached a length of 2 inches, roughly the size of a lime. Heartrate was good, and all the indicators were good, so it seems like we're both still healthy. By the next time we go to the doctor (around 15 weeks) we should be able to hear the baby's heartbeat with the doppler, so we probably won't have another ultrasound until the regularly scheduled one at 19-20 weeks. Dave loves ultrasounds though :). Still no nausea or anything, so I think I'm out of the woods with that. Two more weeks of the first trimester and we'll be in the second trimester--I think I can handle gaining a pound a week, if I'm forced ;-).
